· Parade from Legislative Building (Broadway& Memorial) to Fort
Garry Hotel (Broadway, between Fort and Garry streets) (approx 1 Km or 2/3 mile)

· Step off time 7:OOpm. Followed by Oasis tailgate party 2nd  Floor Fort Garry Hotel Parkade.

 

Friday, August 5, 2011

· 8:00am - Breakfast Norwood Hotel ( $15.75 plus lax)

· 9:00am - Buses leave for Competition

· 10:00arn. - 12 noon - Pipe Band competition at Minto Armoury(969 St Mathews Ave)

· 12 Noon  - Bus leaves Minto Armoury for massed band display at Air Canada Park (comer of Portage Avenue at Carlton)

· 12:30pm - Bus leaves Air Canada Park for luncheon and presentations at the Norwood Hotel ( $16.751*15 tax)

· 5:30 pm. Bus leaves Norwood Hotel for Folklorama.  Show times 6-30pm. and 9-30pm. More details to follow.

· 11:OOpm. Bus returns 10 the Norwood Hotel.

Saturday, August 6, 2011

 

· 9:30 AM—Parade at Assiniboine Park. Form up at 9:3Oam.  Step off at 11:OOam. Box lunch will be served at the park.

· 1:OOpm  - Shrine House is open at for refreshments.

· 7:OOpm.— A boat trip has been arranged for Saturday evening. Boat leaves at 7:OOpm. More details to follow. Sign up sheet is in the band room.

Ladies are welcome to come to all the above events as there will be room on the bus.

 

Nobles please note that on both parades we will be in summer dress WHITE hose, Fez but no tie.

For the competition all day Friday, we will be in summer dress with BLACK hose, Fez but no tie.

If you have not purchased your new hose yet please contact Bill Crosby as soon as possible.
