It is suggested that Circus, Motor Corp, Oriental Band & Chanters delegates

have lunch at the General Session Delegate lunch.  They should make

 reservation through their temple.  The other option is to have lunch on their own.

OFFICIAL COMMITTEES

REGISTRATION:  

· Each Chief Rabban is responsible for seeing that his Temple’s delegation is registered with the MSA Secretary/Treasurer using the provided form.

· All housing reservation will also be made though the MSA Secretary/Treasurer. 

· The Fort Garry Hotel is providing MSA with a total of 160 (of which 54 are doubles (two beds and 21 in which a rollaway may be placed, after these are gone there are single) rooms.

· Past history would indicate this to be enough rooms to accommodate the expected attendance. However, room’s reservations will be assigned on a first received basis.

· THERE IS NO SMOKING IN HOTEL PROPER OR SLEEPING ROOMS

 

Room Rates

· SINGLE $129.98 CAN, DOUBLE $129.88CAN including tax.  Check out is 11:00PM, (this will be extended by requested by the hotel) there will be luggage storage.

· We have reserved 6 Hospitality Suites $256.23CAN per day. MSA suggests that Temples share Hospitality rooms.

· All rooms will be assigned to Temples in order of registration received.  A room reservation form is enclosed. 

· The deadline for registration and housing request is January 4, 2011.  There will be no problems parking. 

· Please inform if you are using a bus so we can provide parking space.

 

Past M.S.A. Officers: 

· All past M.S.A. officers are requested to register and make room reservations through their own Temple.

Imperial Officers: 

· We have been advised that the Imperial Potentate will assign at least two Imperial Officers to be in attendance. (Names unknown at the time of publication.)

 

Ladies:

· As in past years, there are no activities planned for the ladies at the Winter Business Session.

 

Reports for all Standing Committee Meetings and Counterpart Meetings:

· A secretary or note taker shall be assigned by the meeting Chairman, for purpose of taking minutes or notes at the meeting. 

· They must submit a legible hand written report to the M.S.A. Secretary. 

· Friday meeting reports are due by 6:00 PM Friday and Saturday meeting reports by 11:00 AM Saturday.

 

Rooms & Meal Costs:

· Rooms rates are indicated above and also on the Housing registration form.

· The M.S.A. Sec/Treas will attempt to honor all special room type requests based on receipt date of housing form.

· Meal costs including all taxes and gratuity (CAN Dollars) are as follows:

 

Friday breakfast                                      $24.42

Friday lunch                                             $34.99

Friday evening banquet                        $51.06

Saturday Breakfast                                $24.22

Saturday Lunch                                     $25.50

                 Total                                          $160.19

 

· Meal coupons will be included in registration packets.

· Rooms and meal reservations are due by January 4, 2011.

· Temple Recorders may make minor adjustments and meal counts up to 5:00 PM, Monday February 7, 2011, adjustments may be made up February 9, 2011 

· Temples will be billed based upon reservations made and meal count as of February 9th date.
